I was tasked yesterday with putting together a message with a few others, we believe the entire thing reads:
"...was astronomical, but I was finally able to see it." "In return for the gift I offered" "It rose above us, towering, and I wept." "My god! My savior! You arrived."
The order is of course interpretation, but it reads as scripture does it not? Perhaps the cost of the ritual and the arrival of said summoned god. Yuffie has reason to believe the messenger was Aventurine, though he did not leave any personal message attached to mine beyond instructions.
For the record, in case anything happens this weekend: my partner is Laudna. Best for the both of you to know.
Ah— I have a hunch about that, but I can’t conclude for certain until I have seen others. I think it may be related to the, erm, prizes received from those who go on little mind trips.
Think there's little burlap dolls, and teeth, and... I can't remember the other one.
Anyway yeah, that was what I heard too. It's not my theory, I'm not smart enough for all that - someone was telling me it was for the summoning, and that if that summoning wasn't perfect it'd make the thing they're summoning mortal.
Granted, we'd all be dead if it got to that point, but...
[they got letters from the dead. so. maybe that's not the worst.]
I believe this is the plan. Components for an imperfect summoning and perhaps striking the newborn down in the moment of birth unto the world! A dangerous proposition but one that had a hint of excitement, no?
Well, you’re certainly not allowed to go and leave him stranded. He’s already having a time of it. [ Are all teenagers this stupid or did we just get a pair of very uniquely special ones? ]
—been monitoring everyone's conditions upon arrival, and after a month of consistent results, it seems safe to conclude this much: no one here has a connection to their monsters. They lose their power and forego the ability to grant themselves a wish, but in turn, can no longer be possessed and manipulated by the cult in such a way.
Could it have something to do with this place? Meanwhile, they've only been getting themselves into more trouble lately, which is a headache, but I can't discourage their efforts. ]
W4. Thursday
I was tasked yesterday with putting together a message with a few others, we believe the entire thing reads:

I believe they are components for the summoning? But I would like to hear your theory.

[ hm. ]
I wonder if there’s a way to make them summon it prematurely?

So, I’m meant to find someone who got a rock and… interrogate them?

Do I look like I could cultivate something like that before we all get ritually sacrificed to some elder god? [ … ] Or escape.

By the way. My partner's Suguru. I told him he'd be okay if anything happened to me - so if something does, I need you to find him someone. Okay?
no subject
Of course. And please do the same for Laudna should something come to pass to me. She could use our support regardless.
no subject
Yeah, of course. [hate that. hate thinking about that. hate that it's just another thursday.]
I've been checking in on her.

I think she should wish Delilah out of existence if I'm honest.

Rondo showed me after Camille, yeah. [a sigh.] That's good to know.

… Yes, that makes sense. I still feel the same as I did after Camille died.

I suppose remaining independent may be for the best. I imagine more opportunity will arrive.
no subject
I’m still not enamoured with the idea, but as more die and more go unpaired it does become more likely that avoiding a partner death is possible.
