Back to reading already. Looks like the events nor the healing had too profound of an effect on you, not enough to stop you from your hobbies at least.
Need your hands, don't you? I'd feel the same if I were in your boat.
...A second dive may help, I'm led to believe, though it's not exactly my first recommendation for anything...
Could at least splint it though, make sure the bones heal straight and nice. Best to be stuck in a mitt in the short-term than have an ineffective hand for the rest of your life.
It is ... among the worst injuries someone in my profession could have. I suppose consider it like a pianist - I need to make very precise hand motions. It will take time to recover.
[ looking at it, trying to make a gesture. ]
At least if I am to survive long enough to return home, magical healing may assist.
[ This game is more reasonable than some, thank god. Well Daan's also got light bandages on his right hand so that's a mood also. He's just going to come closer or sit down if there's a chair and takes his hand, taking a look at it. Bandaging it to give it support but still allow for movement in the joints, sandwiching some pieces of multi-folded paper to act as flatter, softer splints to help keep the hand straighter when in resting. ]
[ it seems mostly healed over externally, but not fully healed in terms of movement - being totally smashed does things to your Bones - but he's pretty stoic about the treatment and lets him do what he needs to without whining or interrupting.

I'm certainly not interested in just rolling over and dying, either.
[ His crushed bones!!! Just making sure there aren't any that are extremely obviously out of place and essentially giving the whole thing a soft splint/support system type of structure, hopefully you will not leave this place with a wonky hand. Pats the back of his hand and lets go. ]
Thought Karlach would blow a fuse right then and there. She depends on your presence.
