From what I've been hearing it sounds like losing yourself in the fog is a momentary action, before you get spat back out right where you started.

It has all the hallmarks of a classic kidnapping except for the parasitic insertion so far, so I'm comfortable calling it that.

I was rather hoping Shadowheart would turn up, but it seems she is likely not here. Or at least, is not listed on the profiles posted. You are the group I was last with, so it would make sense the four of us would arrive together.

I mean, it is entirely possible. That is how Teleportation works. However, I don't believe are are in Faerun as of this moment.

I don't know, if having two means they cancel each other out without losing the benefits maybe I have room for one more.

I think we'd notice if we were teleported. I notice when I Misty Step? [ he's not totally oblivious. ] ... Why? The area's vague enough we could be anywhere.

Yes, exactly. Teleportation of an resisting creature involves a battle of Wills, so to speak. Their mind against yours, and the displacement through space is often a struggle. Whatever has brought us here is incredibly powerful. As for not being in Faerun, I have to say that's only my gut instinct, but one well supported by the evidence we have. For example, I can't feel the touch of the Weave in the slightest - an unusual feeling, even compared to the effects of something such as the Sussur Bloom.

So, not Sussur Blooms, but something like it. If this is a kidnapping, that's an annoyingly smart thing for them to do.

Quite so. Though the question remains what they want with us at the end of the day. I suppose the only way to find out is to wait until something makes an appearance.

At least with the Profiles you have an exact number now, if you had forgotten. I did meet another undead woman who was quite surprised to find the years had passed quicker than she believed.

I actually quite hope Thaniel and Halsin were as far away from the tower as possible at the moment I remember. But as far as I'm aware, no, they did nothing to it.
